Be a reviewer for Grit Fund 2026 Project Grants!

Grit Fund awards up to $10,000 to projects that add to the vibrancy and development of Baltimore’s culture. We focus on funding projects that bring creatives and community members together to explore a sense of place and shared space. We are searching for jurors to be part of our team that reviews grant applications and decides who will be our Grit Fund 2025 Project Grant Recipients.

The deadline to apply is March 31, 2026, 11:59 pm EST. Applications can be found online here, at Submittable.

Juror Roles and Responsibilities
Application Review
  • Review Stage One – Review All Applications (approx. 4 weeks); and Review Stage Two – Review Top 20 applicants (approx. 1 week)
Attend Scheduled Meetings 
  1. On boarding meeting: 1 hr. – April 23, 2026  – Virtual, Time TBD
  2. Meeting to discuss top applications: 2-3 hrs. – Virtual, Date & Time TBD
  3. Be available for a possible third meeting to discuss applications if needed.
Each juror will receive a stipend of $500 when the review process is complete, and award recipients are determined.


Eligibility

  • You cannot apply for Grit Fund 2026 Project Grants
  • You cannot be part of any Grit Fund projects for the 2026 cycle
